Ronghe International — our shared community of the tinplate ecosystem
Why We Built Tinplate Community /
For decades, the global tinplate industry has relied on fragmented communication channels — scattered trade shows, one-off email introductions, and closed-door industry networks. A procurement manager at a can factory in Vietnam spends weeks sourcing a single container of food-grade Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP); a seasoned mill in Northern China sits on unsold stock of Tin Free Steel (TFS) simply because the right buyer never hears about it; small and medium enterprises on both sides operate in the shadows of information asymmetry, unable to access the same transparency and efficiency enjoyed by large conglomerates.
We founded the Tinplate Community to change this. Not by becoming another middleman or trading platform — but by building something the tinplate industry has never truly had before: a neutral, open, trusted information space where every participant, from the smallest converter to the largest steel group, is seen on equal footing.
Our Mission /
To empower every participant in the global tinplate supply chain with structured, accurate, and verified information — enabling them to make smarter business decisions, build reliable partnerships, and grow their business with confidence.
We do this by focusing on three pillars:
A standardized specification framework so buyers and suppliers speak the same language — gauge, width, temper, coating mass, steel grade — no more lost-in-translation ambiguity.
Verified publisher accounts, email-verified inquiries, human moderation review, and a full audit trail for every critical action. You know exactly who you are talking to.
Four public pages, no login required to search and discover. The industry’s supply and demand information is accessible to anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Our Vision /
A tinplate ecosystem where information flows freely, trust is built into every connection, and no business opportunity is lost simply because two parties never had the chance to find each other.
We envision a future where a small, family-owned can-making operation in Southeast Asia sources raw material as efficiently as the largest multinational beverage brand. Where a specialized TFS coating mill in Japan connects with a cosmetics packaging buyer in Brazil without needing a dozen middlemen. Where the words “tinplate supply chain” no longer evoke opacity and fragmentation — but professionalism, transparency, and shared prosperity.
